A Month of Asana for People with Health Conditions
Asana is defined as a steady, comfortable pose. How does one establish steadiness and comfort when practicing with a health condition? Twenty-five essential poses will be used in two 75-minute classes a week to focus on health in specific areas of body and mind. Pranayama in the Morning: A Five-Day Class for Six Months’ Practice
Pranayama, the study of the life force through the breath, is best learned in intimate settings under the hands-on guidance of an experienced teacher. The benefits of right practice include self-knowledge, the regulation of effort, physiological resilience, and vitality. Junsei Jana Drakka passed away Friday, October 27th. She was the founder of Zenkei Sangha. We will have a short memorial service for her at Beginner's Mind Temple, her home sangha.
