Meditation Posture Fridays

The posture we take sets the tone for our entire experience and capacity in concentration and meditation. Though there are infinite ways to study it, one of the most effective entries is through the everyday experience of practitioners.
The 10-session 2017 series is offered to provide a guided apprenticeship in the yoga of meditation. Once a month, we gather for an asana class that addresses a specific postural, physiological, or mental aspect of meditation practice, based on participants’ own questions and needs. After class and a short Q&A session, everyone is invited to the zendo to put learning into action.
Please bring an empty stomach, curiosity, and wear loose, comfortable dark-colored clothes. Students of all ages and physical abilities are welcome. The class is offered by donation.
