Yoga for Headaches

$60 – $90Headache is one of the most commonly experienced pains of mainstream American culture. Usually, we reach for a painkiller, which temporarily relieves the symptoms but does not cure the cause. However, with yoga we can find and address the causes and conditions of this ubiquitous affliction of modern Western life.
Two serious accidents in recent years have matured Victoria’s practice and teaching for head injury, pain, and plasticity of brain and nerves. She welcomes you to join her for a deeply restoring evening of asana to alleviate pain and cultivate peace.
In this three-hour workshop, we will change the pattern of past, present and future headaches by practicing for refreshment, relief and prevention. We will look at modifications to help create well-being of face and head, using Patanjali’s teaching of the possible causes of disease: fate or environment, imbalances, or behavior. Short- and long-term methods will be offered.
