GURU PURNIMA — HONORING THE TEACHER

IYISF invites you to a half-hour celebration to honor the Guru. We will chant some verses:
- Verses to the Guru
- Short selection from the Guru Gita on the nature of the Guru
- Invocation to Patanjali
- Verses to honor BKS Iyengar
We may be able to chant part of the Yoga Sutras or to share some stories about B.K.S. Iyengar.
