What are the elements of a stable, upright sitting posture? How do we cultivate the yoga of sitting?
Co-sponsored by San Francisco Zen Center and the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco as part of The Art of Teaching, a Teacher Education Program, this special 9-week series will include a range of yoga poses and sequences to build strength, flexibility, and composure for seated practices. Participants will learn how to use daily yoga practice to take care of body and mind for sitting. Please wear comfortable clothing that exposes elbows and knees, and come with an empty stomach.
