4 Week Women’s Course

An event every week that begins at 2:00pm on Wednesday and Friday, repeating until November 4, 2016
What poses and practices are particularly suited to the cycles and changes of a woman’s body? With deep respect for the example and teachings of Dr. Geeta Iyengar, we will study specific practices that honor the cyclical changes in the body of a female practitioner through the various stages in her life. At these crucial times, the mind can become diffuse or lose its known quality, due to the all-encompassing nature of the physiological changes. Female yoga practitioners all ages and abilities are welcome to explore wholesome actions to build continuity, stability, and depth from the body to the brain.

Week 1: Menstrual Cycle
Week 2: Fertility-Reproductive Health
Week 3: Perimenopause
Week 4: Menopause
